A Student Council is selected each year by each department and appointed via a formal investiture ceremony. This team works closely with the authorities to support the institution in its everyday functioning. This student body acts as a link between the teachers and the taught and also takes on the responsibility of guiding/leading the students appropriately. The core group of this body of students comprises of the main office bearers, namely the Head Boy, Head Girl, Prefects and Club Presidents. In addition, each department selects a capable team of prefects to carry forward the tasks at hand.

HOUSE SYSTEM

The students of the school are divided into six Houses, each at the Junior and Senior level. The House is managed by Housemasters. The Housemasters select House Captains, Vice Captains. It is compulsory for every student to be the member of a House. The main idea of the House System is to inculcate in our students the essential qualities of leadership, team work, co-operation, mutual understanding and self reliance. Various inter-house activities are held for this purpose throughout the year.
There are Six Houses Differentiated By House Colours:
1. Laxmibai House - Red
2. Vivekanand House -Saffron
3. Tagore House - Blue
4. Gandhi House – White
5. Sarojini House – Florescent Yellow
6. Nehru House - Green
