On August 23, 2024, Universal Public School celebrated the installation ceremony of the Universal Interact Club, marking its collaboration with the Rotary Club, a global organization renowned for its humanitarian efforts. The event began with the traditional lamp lighting and shloka recitation, setting a serene tone for the occasion. Director Principal Ms. Maya Gupta, Principal Ms. Monita Gopal, Vice Principal Ms. Divya Saxena, and other members of Universal Public School formally welcomed the distinguished Rotary Club members with a planter, stole, and a set of books that included works authored by Director Principal Ms. Maya Gupta, the school magazine, and the UPS calendar highlighting the school's achievements. The ceremony included a pinning ceremony for new Rotary Club members, recognizing them as honorary Rotarians. Speeches emphasized the importance of environmental conservation, the five R's (Respect, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replenish), and community service. Cultural performances like the song "Ped Lagao" and a dance on "Tik Tik Tik Plastic Tik Na Paaye" reinforced the environmental theme. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Mrs. Divya Saxena and the National Anthem.
The one great stage to present global concerns through the battle of wits is what MUN conferences is all about.With this motto, On 18 and 19 July, Universal public school hosted the MUNEXUS 2.0. The event opened with the lighting of the lamp, shlok recitations, a choir performance on world peace, and a dance on women's empowerment. The Principal, Mrs. Monita Gopal welcomed the guests and delegates from different school highlighting the value of MUN in providing a platform for students to discuss and come up with solution for global issues. The Director Principal, Mrs. Maya Gupta along with Secretary General (MUNEXUS 2.0), Riddhima Solanki officially opened the conference, which featured six committees: UNGA, UNHRC, UNCSW, AIPPM, AISM and IP with 168 delegates from twenty schools all over Delhi and Delhi-NCR headed by the Executive Board. The event featured engaging committee sessions on various global issues, cultural performances, and an award ceremony recognizing outstanding participants.
